Jimmy challenges students to move past the basics of just getting along with others to seeing the true value of those around us. He teaches not just acceptance, but the personal merit of intrinsic curiosity and appreciation of a cultural mosaic, rather than a melting pot. His comical stories of communication and cultural challenges and differences in foreign lands entertain and educate at the same time. A one-man dramatically staged performance. This witty, down-to-earth and poignant story chronicles Jimmy's first-hand experience with addiction, the horrors of alcoholism and his success in recovery. He reveals the myths of alcohol use, the effects of alcohol on campus, and explains the physiological effects of excess alcohol on the body. Designed to inspire responsible choices and create a foundation of information from which to make these choices, this performance will better prepare students to deal with the pressures related to alcohol on campus. Students will leave with a laugh, a tear, and a whole lot to think about…and thinking makes all the difference.

In a world where straights are being questioned, harassed and even killed for their sexuality, one must stand up and fight for the rights of this oppressed group!
